Jackson Bass is a retired business litigator who specialized in troubled financial institutions and related matters. He divides his time between North Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the Hayward Lakes Area of Northern Wisconsin.

His hobbies include sailing, scuba diving, fishing—and writing. He believes our current financial system problems could have been avoided through adequate and accurate regulation. He seeks to illustrate this theme in his mystery-thriller novel Hard Numbers, which was awarded a five star review by the Midwest Book Review, Wisconsin Book Watch in January 2010.

In his second novel, The Norton Case, Leland Denton, Esq. returns in a mystery-thriller involving financial greed and an illustration of how the past won’t stay dead.
